MIDI 2.0 is the new standard of the MIDI Association for communication between instruments and devices in the field of electronic music (Musical Instruments Digital Interface).

For centuries, MIDI 1.0 with its DIN connectors and jacks as well as the 8-bit limitations of all possible data content and real-time transmissions was the non-plus-ultra of the music devices networking.

But that has changed - the most important players in the music industry have finally (finally) published the succession standard. And it has not only become backwards compatible but also good.

Therefore, we think that all new instruments that value connections should be equipped with MIDI 2.0 should be equipped with MIDI 2.0!
